The Ministry
Perfected in the Word Ministry ... Is a ministry purposed to illuminate God’s Word, through the ascension gift of teaching, as recorded in Ephesians 4:11-15 ... “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.”
The writer of the book of Hebrews acknowledges the fact that we (as believers of Christ and children of God) should have by now obtained the knowledge of what we refer to as “the ABC’s” or basic elements of the teachings of Christ. “Therefore [we will leave] the principles of the doctrine of Christ, [and] go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. And this will we do, if God permit.” [Hebrews 6:1-3]
Our prayer is that we open our hearts and minds to the Rhema, as inspired through the anointing of the Holy Spirit; so that we may come into “the knowledge of the Son of God, [and grow] unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.”
“Whoso[ever] [keeps] his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.” [1 John 2:5]
May “the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, [e]stablish, strengthen, [and] settle you. To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” [1 Peter 5:10,11]
